Happiness held is the seed; happiness shared is the flower. It's growing time again!

Tomato seedlings and Sunflowers grow lovely in gallon milk jugs.

Good Morning Sunshine and friends of The Lemon Lady,

A simple request. Please save gallon milk jugs. Please rinse them thoroughly after use.

Why, you may ask?

Seedlings are being supplied to community gardens, maybe a kindergarten class, too! Milk jugs make a  perfect one gallon potting container to grow healthy, hearty seedlings. I'm rootin' for some fantastic sunflowers to reach the sky and hearts of happy children. Smiles.

I can always use more help with my volunteer seedling donation project. If you are interested in growing seedlings for donation, please inquire. I have volunteer opportunities for that, too. Planting seeds is fun. Ask a child...

Happy Gardening and Sweet Lemonade.

Thank you kindly.

Clayton, California Recycles. Fruit Donation Feeds The Hungry...

Thank you to a very awesome Clayton Family who shared 1,200+ pounds of grapefruit to feed the hungry. The photo represents only a "few" of the grapefruit harvested over a couple month period.

This is what it looks like to SHARE FRUIT with the hungry.
Quite simple, actually. Harvest fruit and share.

The Lemon Lady and Volunteers are happy to help locally in Contra Costa County with fruit harvesting, box supplies, collecting, or transporting fruit to a local food pantry.
