Take Action. February is Heart Month. 5 easy tips to a Happier Healthier Heart...

"Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle." -Plato

Think Orange. The Happier, Heart-Healthy color. It takes a simple act of kindness to bring fresh fruit to a food pantry. One person. One tree. It all begins somewhere. Have YOU picked a tree today?

1. Walking is healthy excercise for YOUR heart. Go for a walk around the neigborhood today. You'll find many fruit trees bursting with ripe oranges, lemons, and other citrus.

2. Making friends is healthy for YOUR heart. I've met thousands of fruit tree owners in the Bay Area. Believe me, they are kind and generous souls who love to share. Make new friends today.

3. Picking fruit is healthy excercise for YOUR heart.

4. Eating fresh oranges is healthy nutrition for YOUR heart.

5. Joy of giving and sharing is healthy emotion for YOUR heart.

What are you waiting for...?
Please help The Lemon Lady celebrate Heart Month by sharing seasonal fruit with a nearby food pantry. Think healthy. Think orange.

The Music Man - Julia Morgan Theatre - Preview Tickets And Pay What You Can Prices Available...

The Music Man

Ya Got Trouble My Friends!

Right here in River City and Professor Harold Hill has the antidote! Full of heart, wit, and beautiful music The Music Man opens on the 4th of July, 1912 with the arrival of Harold Hill in River City, Iowa. Claiming he can keep small-town ideals alive with an all-boys marching band, Hill charms the townspeople into purchasing equipment. However, Marian the Librarian sees through his schemes, at least until she falls in love with the irrepressible con artist.
Overflowing with a parade of classic songs including “Goodnight, My Someone,” “Gary, Indiana,” “Till There Was You,” and “Seventy-Six Trombones,” this is one Tony-winning Broadway classic no family should miss!

Where Is My Milk From. Gives generic a "whole" new meaning...

Many store brands of (organic and non-organic) milk are actually the very same milk from name-brand dairies. You can see the store code on the gallon jugs, side by side one another in the dairy isle.

Do you pay $5.00 a gallon for the very same milk that sells side by side for half as much? (I don't, anymore!) Find out the source of the milk you are purchasing. Have fun looking up Trader Joe's, Safeway, Lucky, Smiths, Kroeger, Walmart, Raley's, NobHill, Sam's Club and other grocery store milk to find out what pricier product is really being sold under their store label!

Have fun. Save some moola.
