One common reason food pantries lack fresh fruit donations is that neighbors who own fruit trees simply don't know food pantries exist in their own city. Homegrown urban fruit can be donated to Women's Shelters, Homeless Shelters, Soup Kitchens, Churches, Community Centers, County Food Banks and other food distribution points across the United States.
A lesser known food pantry in Concord, California is SHARE Food Pantry. Share receives very few donations simply because they do not have funding to support staff and publicity expenses. Like thousands of volunteer food pantries across America, they are too busy hauling and distributing food to the poor to manage publicity and marketing campaigns.

Ill send a private message to you and would like your help with makeing our food pantry a website, we are in Missouri in an abused women's shelter. We have 4 ladies who operate the food shelf and we feed about 100 families a week. God Bless you anna.
