Random Acts of Kindness. One little fruit tree flyer can make a difference...

What do you believe in?

“Motherhood has completely changed me. It's just about like the most completely humbling experience that I've ever had. I think that it puts you in your place because it really forces you to address the issues that you claim to believe in and if you can't stand up to those principles when you're raising a child, forget it.” Diane Keaton

Issues I believe in:
IDEAS INTO ACTION

Fruit to food banks. Random Acts of Kindness. All children deserve fresh apples, oranges, lemons at their breakfast table. Won't you please help The Lemon Lady save our world one little lemon at a time?

Random Acts of Kindness In Action:

One Lemon Lady Letter at a time. One person. One tree. It all begins somewhere. Drop a flyer at the first fruit tree you see. You don't even have to cut the fruit - simply start an awareness campaign. You can blog about it, tweet it, link it, find me on Facebook, or Google. Please...just share some good news today! Our children need you. Citrus fruit is ripe - right now all over the Bay Area.

The HUGE problem with solving the hunger problem is inaction. How many good ideas never get put to action?

Email The Lemon Lady: AnnaAndAva@gmail.com. I'll send a flyer to get you going.

The Best Lemon Tart Recipe...Cook's Illustrated Magazine...

Click image to view scanned pages in larger format.
Cooks Illustrated January & February 2000, The Best Lemon Tart Recipe.
I've always enjoyed Cooks Illustrated Magazines and cookbooks. Just dusted off a joyful surprise old box from a life once lived. Found a ten year old gem in mint condition.

Baking sweet lemon treats to share with a friend gives a little more incentive to urban fruit foraging. Here's a great idea: make friends with a neighbor with a lemon tree and share a lemon tart for two. Happy Harvesting! Happy Baking!

Think Orange. The Happier, Heart-Healthy color. It takes a simple act of kindness to bring fresh fruit to a food pantry. One person. One tree. It all begins somewhere. Have YOU picked a tree today?
1. Walking is healthy excercise for YOUR heart. Go for a walk around the neigborhood today. You'll find many fruit trees bursting with ripe oranges, lemons, and other citrus.

2. Making friends is healthy for YOUR heart. I've met over 500 fruit tree owners in the Bay Area. Believe me, they are kind and generous souls who love to share. Make new friends today.

3. Picking fruit is healthy excercise for YOUR heart.

4. Eating fresh oranges is healthy nutrition for YOUR heart.

5. Joy of giving and sharing is healthy emotion for YOUR heart.
